John Mulaney: KID GORGEOUS Tour

John Mulaney is an actor, writer, producer and a stand-up comedian who is known for his work on Saturday Night Live, where he wrote many of the show’s most memorable shows. His performance as a stand-up comedian has led to numerous specials, including The Top Part, The Comeback Kid and New in Town.

John’s resilience in comedy is on display in his most recent tour Kid Gorgeous.

The tour is in full swing during the summer and fall of 2017, and marks his fourth stand-up show and special in his career. Tickets went on sale to the general public on June 21st for the fall and winter shows.

The tour’s summer tickets are sold out.

But John has said that he is doing his best to accommodate all of his fans that have missed out on the show.

Mulaney, a Fox sitcom, featured John and is a semi-autobiographical series, which was cancelled in February 2015 despite airing only in October 2015. The show was passed up by NBC in 2013,with Fox asking for a new script just a month later to determine if the show was worth producing.

The show was picked up for a six-episode season. Mulaney showed his commitment to the production, serving as a producer, writer and creator of the series until it was cancelled.

Mulaney’s presence as a stand-up comedian has allowed him to excel in the industry despite his sitcom receiving poor reviews. His The Comeback Kid tour was highly acclaimed in 2015, with critics calling his storytelling “rich” and praising his confidence.

His show is a testament of his confidence that far exceeds that of someone his age.

The Comeback Kid was nominated for an Emmy Award for “Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special.”

Oh, Hello On Broadway is also being featured as a Netflix Original in 2017 and stars Nick Kroll and John Mulaney. The stand-up comedy is one hour and 42 minutes in length, featuring two delusional geriatrics that have a love for tuna and a curious past that is revealed throughout the comedy.

Mulaney has been open about having a drinking problem and stated that he often blacked out during his stand-up routines. He has admitted to not drinking alcohol any longer.

He married a makeup artist, grew up Catholic and spent time as an altar boy.

John is also playing the voice of Andrew in Big Mouth, a Netflix original animated sitcom. He will play Andrew alongside Nick Kroll.
