Finding Neverland
Finding Neverland is a breathtaking production of magic based on the award-winning film Finding Neverland. The show brings the struggle of an aspiring writer to life as J.M. Barrie, a playwright, goes through a journey to become a man, a writer.
Barrie’s life takes a twist when he meets Sylvia, a widow who has four sons. He draws his inspiration from the family.
The sons breathe life into Barrie, as he creates a world of magic in Neverland and writes a play that brings his London crowd to their feet.
The musical is described as inspirational and features an original score that Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy composed. The visuals are “mesmerizing,” with the songs becoming irresistibleand the crowd sure to laugh along the way.
Imagination takes center stage in Finding Neverland, as the story shows the crowd that you never have to grow up when you have an imagination.

Several children are used throughout the production to play the roles of Peter, Jack, Michael and George.
Finding Neverland was first adapted as a musical in 2012 with productions in Leicester. The show was then reworked and was performed in Cambridge, Massachusetts before making its way to Broadway in 2015.
La Jolla Playhouse announced in February 2011 that they were in the process of producing the stage musical for Finding Neverland. The La Jolla Playhouse never materialized, despite the world premiere of the musical making its way to the Curve in Leicester in September 2012.
The musical went on to be revised under the guidance of a new creative team and featured 22 songs from Gary Barlow along with a few original songs kept in production.
